Who is behind this blog?
Healing Spring Acupuncture is the private practice of Robin Cupp L. Ac. I have been studying the art of healing for over 23 years now. It began really with my own healing journey and I really had no intention of becoming a practitioner. Little by little it seemed my Physics and Engineering focus seemed to change toward understanding and wanting to help myself and others solve actual problems not so different from solving real world problems as an engineer. As time went by I think my combination of scientific background and innate grasp of healing concepts allowed me to disseminate and teach the complex information more successfully than others. I have had some great teachers along the way and I owe much them. Read more about Robin’s background.
The main topic of this blog is Energy Medicine of which the field of acupuncture is really a subset. Many authors refer to the phenomena more as subtle energy medicine because there really are unexplained aspects that differ from just basic electromagnetic phenomena. I am open to comments and ideas put forth on all types of energy medicine. I suggest that we can also include herbal and other natural medicines in this forum but there are many other forums and places where that kind of information may be passed around.
Please feel free to join in our discussions. Your opinions and questions are important and may be very helpful to someone else as well.
