Allergies can have really weird effects on people.  Sugar allergies take the cake so to speak on weird effects that they can have on the people that have them.  I first discovered this back when I was married.  My wife and I would go shopping and we would be getting our stuff at the grocery store and putting our things in the cart.  Suddenly she might say something like “feed me” or “let’s get a snack”.  Being a typical guy I would say ok let’s just finish getting the groceries and then grab something.  No, this didn’t work at all.  You had to get her something now or suffer the consequences.   She could get real cranky, or at other times it’s like her brain would just turn off.  When her brain turned off she could be like a zombie.  She told me a story that one time she sort of woke up just sitting in the car parked by the side of the road with the engine running and she said “I think I was sitting there for at least a half hour.”  My ex would always carry some food or snacks and she could never ever skip lunch at work.

All of these symptoms went away when we cleared her sugar allergies.   Clearing for an allergy is the common term for the allergy elimination treatment.  When I first was trained in Nambudripad’s Allergy Elimination Technique (NAET) I tested my wife and found that she was allergic to many foods but sugar was one of her most serious allergies.  I then cleared her for all the different sugars in my kit.  By clearing the patient we help their body become energetically harmonious with that substance.  After the clearing she would get hungry but we could wait to eat little while.  Her irritability when she had not eaten went away.  One day she said to me “it got so busy at work today that I forgot to eat.  I went 8 hours without food and I didn’t crash.”  We were so amazed at this miracle.  Allergy elimination can produce miraculous results to people with severe allergies.

Signs and symptoms of a sugar allergy include:

• confusion, inability to concentrate or hazy thinking when you haven’t eaten for 3 to 4 hours.
• irritability that improves after eating.
• out of control behavior in children when they eat or drink something sweet.
• strong craving for sodas, sweets, chocolate, dairy, or anything containing sugar.
• diabetes.
• alcoholism.

Craving Different Foods

Cravings are a good sign of any food allergy.  If you crave bread it’s probably wheat that you are allergic to but it may be some other component of the bread.  If you crave salty foods like pretzels or corn chips you are probably allergic to salt.  If you crave sugar or something sweet it is a positive sign of a sugar allergy.  Now sugar is not one thing.  There are many different molecules that are sugars.  A word that ends with –ose is describing a sugar in English.  Glucose, dextrose, sucrose, fructose and lactose are all simple sugars or sometimes called monosaccharides or disaccharides based on their chemical structures.  I will clear my patients for every form of sugar that they test allergic.  The diagnosis of “lactose intolerance” is almost always a dairy allergy and all symptoms will disappear after one or two treatments.  You may be allergic to one type of sugar molecule but not another.  Sugar allergy symptoms can vary from person to person.   Many people absolutely abhor the thing they are allergic to so you don’t have to crave something to be allergic to it.

Diabetes

Sugar allergies are very common.  Every diabetic that I have ever tested had sugar allergies with the exception of one woman whose main allergy was a severe allergy to starches and grains.  Starches are just a more complex form of sugar and all starches break down into sugars in the digestive process.  You might say that sugar allergies are the cause of diabetes.   However, that can confuse people.  Type I diabetes is a completely different situation.  When I refer to diabetes here I am always referring to Type II.  Unfortunately, clearing for a person’s sugar allergies does not cure diabetes.   It can however, improve a person’s symptoms.  I like to think of diabetes as the disease of what we put in our mouth.  If we keep eating sugar and we are allergic to it, eventually, the sugar metabolism system breaks.  However, even after this a person may control their diabetes by strictly following a good healthy diet.  If a person eats good quality food they can completely control their diabetes.  They must stay away from processed foods entirely.  That means canned anything, frozen pizzas, prepackaged food.  They should eat only whole grains.  Stay away from all white foods; no white flour, no white rice, no white potatoes, no milk, or even white bread.  There are some good diets out there that help people out with this.  More raw foods like nuts, fruits and vegetables are really helpful.  Remember getting treatment and clearing your food allergies is essential to this process.

That Mean Ole Alcohol

Alcoholism is absolutely exacerbated by sugar allergies.  All forms of alcohol come from yeasts that metabolize sugar and starches.  An alcoholic may be allergic to sugar, yeast and the metabolic byproduct alcohol.  Now alcohol is very attractive to most of us for the euphoria it gives.  That doesn’t change by clearing for these allergies; however, it can help someone struggling with the cravings.  I had one patient that really did not want to give up drinking but she found that her drinking was absolutely uncontrollable.  After clearing her for sugar, yeast and alcohol allergies she said her behavior was so much better.  She could drink more controllably and she didn’t black out anymore.  I have found from working with many patients that even after clearing allergies a person can struggle with alcoholism.  The single biggest factor is learning to take responsibility for one’s own life and behaviors.  I always recommend 12-step programs for alcoholism.  12-step programs help people mature at their own rate.  The “Big Book” of Alcoholic Anonymous commonly refers to alcoholism as an allergy.  By treating the allergy at least you will be healthier, and less prone to the energy disruptions that go with sugar allergies.  I hope this helps people understand how treating their sugar allergies with the allergy elimination technique can help them take back control of their life and prevent diabetes.

I performed Applied Kinesiological tests, which included both direct, and indicator muscle tests.  I found that indeed her kidneys, adrenals, conception vessel and lungs all tested at 26% strength.  They should be in the 90% range.  The urinary bladder was at 16%.  I used muscle testing to query the body and found that to bring up the kidney’s and conception vessel’s energy levels up a chronic infection to bacteria needed to be cleared.  Using my combination of allergy elimination and the Modified Tapas Acupressure Technique (MTAT), we cleared for the bacteria she picked out of my bacteria kit.  I found that several emotional events in her life came up during the clearing.  We cleared these emotional traumas including the loss of her first child.  After this, I did acupuncture with her.  Again, I used muscle testing to ask her body where to place the needles.  She needed a number of Back-Shu points as well as points on her arms and legs.  I had her turn over and I placed needles around the naval and the kidney yang stimulating points K7.  When Jennifer got up to leave, she was embarrassed because she had had vaginal bleeding on the sheet.  She was a bit alarmed.  I told her this had never happened before but that this kind of treatment had resulted immediate drainage from some patients in the past.  I really felt like everything was just starting to heal and after all we had cleared some major blockages.  I called her the next day and she had bled through the night but now the bleeding had stopped and she seemed fine at this point.  I was proud of her because the bleeding would have scared some patients but Jennifer stuck with it and accepted my guidance.

I saw her a week later and she reported that she had a brownish vaginal discharge but her back and body aches felt much better after the treatment.   Her Conception Vessel (CV) meridian was now testing at 46% and all her low numbers had come up.  Every thing was improving. We again emphasized the CV meridian in the next treatment.  Chronic viral infection came up during muscle testing and we again cleared for the viruses that she muscle tested weak for in my virus kit.   Several events from her life came up and we cleared the emotional energy that she had stored in her body from these events.

She had only a mild clear discharge in the week after this treatment and later this disappeared entirely.  Her numbers came up into the 70%  range and soon she was telling me that she was reorganizing the house and going through stored papers from years before and throwing them out.  I could tell that her energy for life was way up and essentially, she was leaving behind all the bad stuff from the last 17 years of her life.  She continued getting treatment so far about 7 sessions and she now is talking about going back to further her education.  I am confident now after working with a number of clients seeking help with fertility treatments that Jennifer could carry a child to term.  Her energy levels and her sense of humor are back to her old self.

I began experimenting.  I started using Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) along with back acupressure stimulation to clear allergies.  A much higher percentage of clients cleared their allergies successfully the first treatment when I put EFT and NAET together.  It went from only working about 50% –60% of the time to working more like 95% of the time.  The technique went like this.  I would begin a clearing just like NAET teaches by having the client hold the allergen sample in their hand while I would stimulate the Back Shu points.  I would retest.  If the client tested strong on Physical and Nutritional levels but not on the Emotional level then we would go on to treating the emotional with EFT.  If the client showed a weakness on the Physical or Nutritional or both levels then I would repeat the back tapping until they did test strong.   If the client tested strong on all three levels then the allergy is cleared and the work is done. The third finger mode is mental/emotional indicating a connection with an allergy to something emotional.  I intuitively made the assumption that an emotional event or stressor is connected to the allergy whenever the 3^rd finger mode remained weak after treating the back points and the last 10 years and thousands of clearings have totally supported that assumption.

Now the allergy clearing is progressing and the client is testing weak on only the mental/ emotional level.   I just muscle tested “is there an emotional event that is connected to this allergy?  Yes – ok when did it occur?  Then I would proceed to muscle test the age of the client at the time of the stressor down to the month.  I would then calculate the year and, hopefully, the client would remember the emotional event.  I found that almost miraculously the emotional event usually pops into the client’s mind as we starting talking about that time in their life.  Sometimes I have to give them some hints though.  Once a client remembers an event you can muscle test it to see if that is the correct trauma.  Once you have the correct emotional event then you would test what emotions were involved from the following list:

abandonment, anger, anxiety, apathy, betrayal, confusion, depression, deprivation, despair, disappointment, discouragement, disgust, disillusionment, envy, fear, frustration, grief, guilt, hatred, helplessness, hopelessness, jealousy, loneliness, misery, panic, rage, rejection, resentment, sadness, shame, terror, worry, forgiveness.

Then I would “tap” the emotions out with EFT.  I can’t really teach EFT here but you can go to this web link for EFT instructions and training videos. Essentially Emotional Freedom Technique allows a client to release emotional energy that has been stored in the body ‘s energy system.  The basic procedure involves the client repeating a setup phrase suggested by the practitioner while a series of acupressure points are tapped on 5 – 7 times with a finger while repeating a reminder phrase.  EFT uses a standard set-up phrase that goes something like this “Even though I _state problem, I deeply and completely accept myself.  The idea is to state the emotion or trauma and then the opposite condition, perfect self-acceptance.  The setup phrase always contains the problem and then a positive affirmation.  This tunes the client to the important stressor and then 14 points are tapped one by one.  There is another 9-Gamut procedure included in this as well that uses just one point while eye movements, counting and humming activate different parts of the brain.

Ryan was a student that could not drink milk without usually a fast trip to the john. I demonstrated a “clearing” on Ryan in a community college class in front of many students.  His doctor had told him that he had lactose intolerance.  I tested him and, yes, he tested weak for the dairy test vial in my kit on the physical, nutritional, and emotional levels.  I told him he was allergic to dairy but not to worry because we were going to make that go away today!   He is agreeable!  We begin by having him hold the dairy sample while I go through the back tapping with the side of my hand.  I usually do three or four sets of this acupressure stimulation before I retest.  He now tests weak on only the emotional level.  We know there is an emotional trauma involved in this allergy.  Now I will Muscle Test when the emotional event occurred.   We find out it was July at age 18.  We find out that he crashed his Dad’s truck when he was 18 and he was really scared his Dad would be really mad.  I muscle test if this is the emotional event that is related to this dairy allergy.  He tests – yes.  We proceed to clear the emotions connected to this event by first testing them and finding he has feelings, of anger, anxiety, betrayal, deprivation, despair, disappointment, discouragement, fear, frustration, guilt, helplessness, hopelessness, panic, rage, shame, terror, and worry.

Here are some of the set-up phrases:  Even though I crashed my Dad’s truck when I wasn’t supposed to be driving it, I deeply and completely accept myself. Even though I have feelings of anger, anxiety and betrayal, I deeply and completely accept myself. I found I could do only about 3 emotions at the same time without confusing the client.  Even though I have feelings of, deprivation, despair, and disappointment from when I crashed my Dad’s Truck, I deeply and completely accept myself. You just keep repeating the tapping procedure until you have gone through all the emotions.  When you are done retest the dairy vial with the client still holding the vial.  Does it now test strong on all three finger mode levels?  If it tests strong on all three levels then you are essentially done.  I usually have them continue to hold the vial while I do a finishing up routine of acupuncture with needles or some form of non-needle stimulation.  Ryan came back to class the following week and drank a carton of milk in front of his classmates and really got them excited.  He had no reaction at that time and continues to eat and drink dairy without a problem.

I have spent the last 24 years studying healing. The healing that I began studying really began with my own healing. Since my own healing is a continuous ongoing process, what I learn in my own healing often becomes part of my understanding of the human mind, body and spirit and helps me help others.

My highest level teacher has been the Lord Jesus Christ and, ultimately, Father God and the Holy Spirit. However, I am hesitant to say I am a Christian because of the many horrendous deeds done in the name of Christianity. I often cringe when I hear of some awful thing being said by some low vibration tele-evangelist. However, I have seen and been a part of quite miraculous healings accomplished by prayer. Certainly from the bible stories Christ Jesus was the ultimate healer. However, healing occurs for agnostics, for atheists, and for Christians alike. The great mystery of healing happens for all and it is as simple as allowing for healing to occur automatically and by asking for it. Healing is built into our universe as if by magic!

I have had many teachers including angels, Chinese masters, chiropractors, artists, philosophers, poets, musicians, children, plants, animals and a rock, colleagues, western doctors and nurses, even PhDs, and, probably the best teachers of all, my patients. Often as I pondered the solution for someone’s health problem, and subconsciously asked God for an answer, I would get a string of patients and their problems that would lead me to the answer. Miraculous techniques came my way. God is truly involved in the process. I do admit soaking the ideas up like a sponge and always seeking and feeling my way for solutions like a blind man uses his cane on the street. The glorious reward of the process has been the eye-opening mystery of it all.

Allowing Source (a less intimidating word for God) to teach me things wasn’t always easy for me. I am inherently skeptical by nature. I was trained as a physicist at the university and, for the most part, my understanding of the universe has been firmly grounded in western science. It is because of this that my world has been rocked by the amazing events that have happened related to healing in my own life and as a result of my love of helping others. Miracles happen on a daily basis in most people’s lives but so often they are not paying attention. I try to remind them because ultimately Source heals. My job as a physician, or maybe a better word is healer, is to simply hold the door open. I hope that those that I am attempting to help will walk through it and just keep walking. My favorite quote from Hippocrates is that “Nature heals; the physician is only nature’s assistant.” That quote should be the essence of the role of physicians everywhere but it is rarely found these days in the treatment rooms of western medicine.

I hope that at a minimum at least one person finds this blog helpful, inspiring or even gives someone a chuckle. My deepest fear & hope is that much like the Middle East these days hungering for democracy and freedom that I am part of a great movement that integrates actual healing modalities with common sense medicine back into the American health care system and hopefully this message spreads worldwide.
